This self-guided tour highlights pieces from The New School’s acclaimed art collection, publicly displayed throughout the university’s urban campus. The collection was established in 1960 with a grant from the Albert A. List Foundation and has grown to include over 1,800 works to-date. The theme for this tour follows the 2006-2007 curatorial focus of The Vera List Center for Art and Politics, The Public Domain.

Produced in collaboration with students and The New School Art Collection, the collection guides provide a select self-guided tour of those works in the collection that relate to the center’s annual theme.
