Teach-In on Ukraine for Artists, Activists, and Arts Workers

Mar 12, 2022

11:00am–1:00pm ET

The devastating consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine are felt both in Ukraine and globally. With the aim of building our collective knowledge, educational resources, and solidarity efforts as cultural practitioners, Creative Time and the Vera List Center for Art and Politics at The New School are gathering a range of speakers for an emergency teach-in on the evolving crisis.

This session is offered as an introduction to what is happening in Ukraine right now: How did we get here? What are anti-war, anti-imperialist, anti-settler colonial pathways forward? What does solidarity look like, with Ukraine and oppressed people internationally? What might the role of artists and art workers be in this struggle?
