Now in its 14th year, “Public Art Fund Talks” is an ongoing series of presentations and discussions by some of today’s most influential artists, critics, and curators, produced by the Public Art Fund.

Former talks have featured artists such as Francis Als, Matthew Barney, Janet Cardiff, Pierre Huyghe, Takashi Murakami, Gabriel Orozco, Pipilotti Rist, and Rachel Whiteread, and curators such as Lynne Cooke, Catherine David, Okwui Enwezor, Kasper Koenig, and Hans-Ulrich Obrist. Topics have included emerging trends in art, the shifting focus of artists engaged with public issues, and cultural issues confronting curators in an international art world. Sculptor Rachel Harrison will be speaking in the first event in the series. Presented by the Public Art Fund in association with the Vera List Center for Art and Politics at The New School.
