Conference

Emerge is a one-day conference for 200 emerging artists consisting of a series of panel discussions and an art dealer/museum curator slide review. Emerge provides a dynamic and conversive situation that will give you the opportunity to present your work to over twenty Chelsea and SoHo galleries and museums.

Veteran artists, curators and dealers will talk about how to “get-going” in the New York art world, how artists engage each other for support and networking, as well as how to connect with the gallery and non-profit systems.

The conference begins with welcoming remarks by Alan Hevesi, Comptroller, City of New York.
