Security is no longer a global issue exclusively. It’s now local. What does this imply? What are the technologies of detection and deterrence, what are the implications of risk-profiling and prediction? In this panel discussion, we explore the permissibility of firewalls, the manufacturing of a homeland (both abroad and in the U.S.), information flows, power bunkers, and the erotics of surveillance technology.
