Fever: The Art of David Wojnarowicz: Unfinished Opus: Wojnarowicz’s Work in Music

Feb 22, 1999

6:00–8:00pm ET

Unfinished Opus is David Wojnarowicz’s work in music, from his East Village band, Three Teens Kill Four No Motive, to In the Shadow of Forward Motion, a work made in collaboration with composer Ben Neil.
John Carlin, creator of the Optic Nerve CD Rom, will also speak.

David Wojnarowicz, part of the “first wave” of East Village artists, died of AIDS in 1992 at the age of thirty-seven. His art had a sharp political edge and was entangled in controversies about medical research funding, morality and censorship, and the legal rights of artists.

Part 2 of 3.
